WHERE IT BEGAN
White Haathi is more than just a jewellery brand – it's a passion project born out of a desire to support local artisans during a time of great need. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit India in early 2020, many artisans lost their jobs and struggled to make ends meet. As someone who had always been fascinated by the beauty and craftsmanship of Indian jewellery, our founder knew she had to do something to help.
With that in mind, we began reaching out to artisans across India, seeking to collaborate with them and showcase their incredible talent to the world. Despite the challenges of lockdown and social distancing, we worked tirelessly to create a collection of jewellery that reflected the unique cultural heritage and artistic vision of each artisan.
And so, White Haathi was born – a brand that combines the elegance of traditional Indian jewellery with a modern, contemporary flair. Our pieces are handcrafted with love and care, using only the finest materials and techniques. From delicate earrings to statement necklaces, each piece tells a story and celebrates the rich diversity of India's craft traditions.
